Steve Vongluekiat
Dr. Steve grew up on the Northwest Side of Chicago and has spent most of his life in the Chicagoland area. He attended Northwestern University for his undergraduate studies where he obtained a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Eventually, he found his way to dentistry and attended the University of Illinois at Chicago's College of Dentistry. Graduating with honors in 2007, he decided to further pursue his education by completing a one year general practice residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. There, he was able to work alongside specialists to gain further experience in all aspects of dentistry and to gain exposure to hospital dental treatment.
Dr. Steve and Dr. Choi started their current practice in 2008 and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Dr. Steve has gained a unique perspective on the importance of dentistry through working in areas of the country with little to no dentists, through his work in underserved areas of the city, and through his work on special needs patients and in hospital dentistry. Dr. Steve is dedicated to keeping up with advances in dentistry and strives to continue educating himself on new updates in the dental field. Dr. Steve is also a firm believer in good communication with his patients.
Dr. Steve is happily married to his wife Laura and they have two sons, Luke and Grant. He is also a big Chicago sports fan. Dr. Steve spends his free time playing water sports, watching sports on television, and reading.
Intaek Choi
Dr. Intaek Choi is a highly skilled dentist who is passionate about providing his patients with the best dental care and service. He is also passionate about Chicago since he spent most of his life in the city and suburbs of Chicago. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for his undergraduate degree and then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. From there Dr. Choi pursued further training at the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in order to enhance his skills with oral surgery and management of dental emergencies.
Dr. Choi is happily married to his wife Petra. He has a son, Joseph, and a daughter, Annabel. He enjoys playing sports and rooting for his teams, the Cubs, Bulls, Bears, and especially the Fighting Illini.
